Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Key information for authors and readers publishing with Academians Publishers.

Q1 What is the Article Processing Charge (APC)?
The Article Processing Charge (APC) is 50 USD per accepted article. This fee covers editorial handling, double‑blind peer review, typesetting and formatting, DOI assignment, online hosting, and long‑term archiving of your paper.
Q2 Are your journals open access?
Yes. All Academians Publishers journals are fully open access. Articles are freely available online immediately after publication and are normally published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing reading, sharing, and reuse with proper citation.
Q3 How can I submit my manuscript?
Manuscripts can be submitted through our online submission form or by email to the editorial office, following the specific journal’s Author Guidelines. Authors should upload a Microsoft Word file and ensure that the manuscript is anonymized for double‑blind review where required.
Q4 How long does the peer‑review process take?
The initial editorial screening is usually completed within 1–2 weeks. Full double‑blind peer review typically takes an additional 2–4 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and revisions required. Authors are notified by email as soon as a decision is made.
Q5 Are the journals indexed? Where will my article appear?
Our journals are being indexed in a range of scholarly databases and search engines (for example Google Scholar and other indexing services appropriate to each field). Indexing status may differ by journal, and new services are added over time; authors can consult the journal’s home page for the most up‑to‑date information.
Q6 What types of articles do you accept?
Depending on the journal, we generally accept original research articles, review articles, short communications, case studies, and editorials. Each submission must fall within the journal’s stated scope and adhere to the formatting and ethical requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Q7 How can I pay the APC?
APC payments can typically be made via secure PayPal link, Wise transfer, or direct bank transfer. Detailed payment instructions are sent together with the formal acceptance letter so that authors can choose the most convenient option.
Q8 Do you offer APC waivers or discounts?
Waivers or partial discounts may be considered in special cases, particularly for authors from low‑income countries or those without institutional funding. Authors who require support should contact the editorial office during the submission or review stage, explaining their situation so that options can be discussed before acceptance.
