Abstract
This study explored the evolving landscape of IT governance, particularly focusing on the integration of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and cloud computing, which are revolutionizing IT governance frameworks. These technologies offer significant enhancements in decision-making, security, and alignment with business objectives, positioning organizations for competitive advantage in the digital era. However, the adoption of these innovations presents substantial challenges, including heightened security concerns, a shortage of expertise, and the complexities involved in integrating these technologies into existing IT governance structures. The study highlighted the critical importance of aligning IT governance with broader business strategies to maximize value and ensure organizational resilience. It also examined the dual role of AI and data analytics in IT governance, noting their potential to significantly improve efficiency, risk management, and compliance monitoring. Despite these benefits, the study emphasized the risks associated with AI, particularly in terms of bias, transparency, and ethical considerations. The research concluded that for organizations to successfully navigate the future of IT governance, they must foster a culture of continuous improvement, invest in ongoing training and development, and adopt a proactive, risk-based approach to governance. Real-time monitoring tools and strategic alignment between IT and business units were also recommended as essential strategies for maintaining robust security and compliance in a rapidly changing technological landscape. By embracing these best practices, organizations can effectively manage the complexities of IT governance and enhance their overall cybersecurity posture.

Abstract
The integration of IT governance with business strategy played a pivotal role in enhancing organizational excellence. This study explored how aligning IT governance frameworks with strategic business objectives led to improvements in performance, innovation, and competitive advantage. Key success factors such as leadership commitment, effective communication, and stakeholder engagement were analyzed for their impact on this alignment. The research also investigated the challenges organizations faced, including resistance to change and insufficient stakeholder involvement, and provided strategies to overcome these obstacles. The study found that organizations that effectively integrated IT governance with their business strategy experienced higher operational efficiency, better risk management, and greater innovation capabilities. However, the process required a deep understanding of both IT and business objectives, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement. The findings suggested that organizations needed to develop IT governance practices that were adaptable to evolving business environments and strategic priorities to maintain alignment and drive sustained success. By addressing these factors, organizations could ensure that their IT governance practices were not only aligned with their business strategy but also capable of supporting long-term growth and competitiveness in a dynamic market. The study concluded that effective integration of IT governance with business strategy was essential for achieving organizational excellence.

This paper examined the critical aspects of achieving excellence in IT governance by focusing on the roles, responsibilities, and risk management practices essential for organizational success. In the digital age, where technological advancements continuously reshape business landscapes, the study analyzed how well-defined roles and responsibilities within IT governance frameworks contribute to accountability, strategic alignment, and risk mitigation. By reviewing contemporary literature and case studies, the research identified the challenges organizations face, such as integrating emerging technologies, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations, and managing stakeholder expectations. The findings indicated that effective IT governance requires clear assignment of roles, regular updates to governance frameworks, and continuous improvement to adapt to new technological and regulatory demands. The study also highlighted the importance of organizational structure and culture in shaping the success of IT governance initiatives. Centralized structures often lead to more consistent governance practices, while decentralized models may require tailored approaches. Moreover, a culture of transparency and accountability is essential for fostering compliance and innovation within governance frameworks. The paper concluded by offering strategies for enhancing IT governance, emphasizing the need for leadership commitment, stakeholder engagement, and the integration of advanced technologies like AI to automate and improve governance processes.

The Economic Loss for Nepal Due to Nepalese Students Studying Abroad

Abstract
The migration of Nepalese students for higher education abroad has increased substantially, creating both opportunities and economic challenges for Nepal. Each year, tens of thousands leave for destinations such as the United States, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom, causing considerable financial outflows and loss of skilled human capital. This study reviews government and academic data to assess economic effects along five dimensions: foreign exchange outflow, opportunity costs, reduced domestic investment, diminished remittance contributions, and long-term brain drain. Annually, foreign education costs exceed USD 1 billion, pressuring foreign exchange reserves and weakening the currency. The loss of skilled professionals constrains innovation and development. Despite these challenges, benefits include improved skills, global exposure, and diaspora support. Recommendations include bolstering domestic higher education, promoting return migration, channeling remittances into education and entrepreneurship, and broadened access to online international programs. While individuals gain from studying abroad, Nepal faces substantial economic challenges requiring strategic, long-term policies to retain and leverage human capital.

Air Quality Assessment of the Fufu Processing Environment in Umucheum Etche, Rivers State, Nigeria: ‘Implications for Environmental Health and Community Safety

Abstract
This study assessed the physical, chemical, and microbiological air quality of a traditional fufu-processing environment in Umucheum Etche, Rivers State, Nigeria, with the aim of determining its implications for environmental health and community safety. Traditional cassava processing involves fermentation, sieving, dewatering, and roasting, activities that collectively generate substantial particulate emissions, gaseous pollutants, and microbial aerosols. Using a cross-sectional experimental design, air samples were collected from three major processing zones Fermentation Hall, Drying/Processing Area, and Packaging/Storage Area and compared with a control point. Particulate matter (PM₂.₅ and PM₁₀), gaseous pollutants (CO, CO₂, NO₂, SO₂), and airborne microbial loads were quantified using standardized analytical methods, including high-volume air sampling, multi-gas detection, and Andersen air impactor culturing. Results revealed significant spatial variation across the processing environment. The Drying/Processing Area exhibited the highest pollutant burden, with PM₂.₅ (60 µg/m³), PM₁₀ (110 µg/m³), CO (3.1 ppm), and peak microbial counts (3.8 × 10⁴ CFU/m³ bacteria; 2.1 × 10³ CFU/m³ fungi), corresponding to an Unhealthy Air Quality Index (AQI). The Fermentation Hall demonstrated moderate pollutant and microbial levels, associated with elevated relative humidity, while the Packaging/Storage Area maintained the lowest concentrations and a Good AQI rating. Dominant bacterial isolates included Bacillus, Micrococcus, and Staphylococcus, whereas fungal species were primarily Aspergillus, Penicillium, and Mucor. The findings underscore substantial occupational and public-health risks associated with artisanal fufu processing, particularly in areas of high mechanical activity and biomass combustion. The study recommends the implementation of engineered ventilation, routine air-quality surveillance, and improved hygiene protocols to reduce exposure and enhance environmental safety within cassava-processing communities.

Abstract
This study investigates the role of digital transformation in enhancing financial reporting, debt management practices, transparency, and accountability within fiscal administrations. Through a mixed-methods approach involving surveys and interviews, the study explores the impact of digital technologies on improving the accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility of financial information, as well as identifying key barriers and potential risks associated with digital transformation. The findings highlight the significant benefits of digital transformation in streamlining financial processes, fostering transparency, and enhancing stakeholder engagement. However, the study also identifies challenges such as resistance to change, legacy systems, cybersecurity threats, and regulatory compliance issues that must be addressed to ensure successful digital transformation initiatives. Based on the findings, recommendations are provided to help fiscal administrations overcome barriers, mitigate risks, and leverage digital technologies effectively to achieve transparent, accountable, and efficient financial management practices. Overall, this study contributes to the growing body of literature on digital transformation in fiscal administration and provides valuable insights for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers seeking to navigate the complexities of digitalization in the public sector.

In the contemporary landscape of organizational psychology and management, this study delves into the intricate web of human factors that significantly impact workplace dynamics. Specifically, it explores the nexus between workers’ satisfaction, happiness, and the broader implications for organizational efficacy. By conducting a comprehensive analysis of employee satisfaction, this research seeks to illuminate the multifaceted elements that contribute to a more fulfilled and content workforce. Drawing insights from various dimensions of employee satisfaction and happiness, the study dissects the vital components that shape the employees' perceptions and experiences within the organizational framework. Key factors investigated include the influence of work environment and culture, recognition and rewards, leadership and management effectiveness, work-life balance, opportunities for development, compensation and benefits, job security, communication, employee empowerment, and team dynamics. These factors were studied to understand their role in augmenting or detracting from employee satisfaction and happiness. The findings reveal a complex interplay of factors, emphasizing the substantial impact of a positive work environment, effective leadership, recognition and rewards, work-life balance, and opportunities for development on employee satisfaction. Additionally, the study underscores the significance of fair compensation, job security, transparent communication, employee empowerment, and supportive team dynamics in shaping the overall happiness and satisfaction of workers. The study concludes by advocating for a more nuanced approach to enhancing organizational insights. It proposes strategic interventions focused on nurturing a supportive work culture, promoting effective leadership, recognizing and rewarding employee contributions, and emphasizing the importance of work-life balance, career development, and fair compensation. These recommendations aim to bolster employee satisfaction, thereby fostering a more engaged, motivated, and efficient workforce, consequently leading to organizational success.
