Itibbeism African Ontology: A Prolegomenon to the Philosophy of Social Re-Engineering

Abstract

This work with the title, “Itibbeism African Ontology: a Prolegomenon to the Philosophy of Social Re-engineering,” sets out to demonstrate the idea of being conceived from the excavation and reinterpretation of the raw data from the recesses of the opulent Annang cultural milieu. It is predicated on the axiom that the ontology of a people embeds the potent dynamics for the configuration of social being. Hence this work attempts an original excavatory reflection on the Ontolology of the Annang people as a prolegomenon for subsequent re-engineering of the society.The vision of this research is to articulate and present a new ontological worldview to the world pool of ontologies as a mechanism for social reconstruction.
